Victor joined ArCcanto in 2017, where he is currently Partner, specializing in providing valuations of business and intangible assets. Victor has more than 30 years of work experience in business valuation, corporate finance and financial advisory in Mexico.
He has worked for different institutions such as the Mexican Ministry of Finance, Mexican ExIm Bank, ING Bank, Operadora de Bolsa de Serfin (Investment Bank) and Bulltick Capital Markets, where he participated in several equity and debt offerings in public capital markets; his main activities were: business valuation (defining the price range in IPOs offerings), due diligence, development of prospectus, filing, roadshows with the financial community and investors, pricing of the offering and closing.
During almost 8 years he worked in the Mexico City office of KPMG in the Financial Advisory Services practice, where he originated and executed several projects such as: i) business valuations, performing & non-performing loans valuations, credit card portfolio valuations; ii) liquidation of a financial institution; iii) structuring and advisory M&A transactions. During that time, he had to opportunity to participate in a mobility program in the London (UK) office of KPMG. He also worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in the Transfer Pricing practice in Mexico City for 3 years, where he was responsible for valuing business and intangible assets.
Also, he has been a corporate finance professor at the Instituto Tecnológico Autómono de México (ITAM).
