Abhi Mathews is a Managing Director at a boutique broker dealer, a Principal at Minerva Valuations and an officer/board member at Brera Holdings, among other entities. He has structured and raised equity capital, senior debt, debentures, convertible notes and preferred shares for public and private entities. He has qualified as a financial expert in the Ontario Superior Court and assisted in corporate finance raising capital for public entities on the NASDAQ, NYSE, TSX, TSX-V, OTC and private entities across North America. He has helped management teams buy and sell entities while raising capital for these transactions. He helps manage a few funds for clients, as part of his broker dealer duties, while advising on m&a and valuation in the professional services space. For investors, we have growing entities and their securities (i.e., venture debt, convertible, pre-ipo, senior debt etc.) along with their entrepreneurs that we bank. He has been in the financial services industry for over fifteen years, during which, he assisted in placing and advising on over $500 million in capital for public and private companies.
Abhishek has founded a childrens’ regional not for profit organization and has been the treasurer for another local children’s not for profit organization. He sits as a board advisor to clients with small businesses both in Canada and in the United States. He is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators, AICPA (BV), of the American Society of Appraisers and of the CFA Institute. He holds a few licenses with FINRA.
