I earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. I passed all three levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) Program and was awarded the charter upon completion of the required work experience. I am also an Accredited Senior Appraiser of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA). I performed or contributed to hundreds of valuation engagements involving businesses, business interests, and intangible assets of privately held and publicly traded companies. These engagements were performed for numerous purposes including estate and gift taxation, business succession planning, employee stock ownership plans, fairness opinions, purchase price allocations, mergers and acquisitions, buy-sell agreements, stock option grants, shareholder disputes, carried interest, and other tax, litigation, and corporate-related matters. These engagements were performed for companies in a variety of industries including but not limited to: financial services, restaurants and food service, software and technology, engineering, manufacturing, wholesale and distribution, construction, real estate, professional practices, healthcare, and holding company and estate planning vehicles.
