James M. Webb, ASA, Manager - Valuation Services - Mr. Webb’s experience over the past 14 years has included hundreds of tax and transactional oriented valuations. In particular, Mr. Webb provides valuation and corporate advisory services for a wide variety of needs, including corporate valuation services, tax compliance, litigation support, financial statement reporting compliance, employee stock ownership plans and fairness opinions.
Mr. Webb has broad industry experience providing corporate valuation services to hundreds of companies in an array of industries. These companies range from public to private, from smaller companies to large multi-nationals. Specific industry experience includes, but is not limited to, technology companies, manufacturing, engineering, distribution companies, healthcare, grocery, printing, plumbing supply, specialty-chemical, government services, specialty contracting, medical products and telecommunications.
Prior to joining Baker-Meekins, Mr. Webb was employed by Legg Mason, Inc. a regional investment firm.
Mr. Webb is a graduate of Loyola College in Maryland, earning both BBA (information systems) and MBA (finance) degrees. He is also an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) in business valuation of The American Society of Appraisers.
