Industrial Engineer with specializations in Marketing, Finance and Strategic Planning from the Los Andes University, Reengineering (Cambridge), President Program (Miami University), Management Leadership (Leesburg-Xerox Corporation), Mergers & Acquisition and Business Intermediary (IBA) and Business & Intangibles Valuation (American Society of Appraisers), Harvard President Seminar (HBS, Boston).
He has been a member of different Board Directors, such as: Corporación Calidad , Council of American Companies , ANDI ,President Program Los Andes University, YPO Organization. He has obtained National Quality Certifications as well as also Marketing Awards recognitions.
He occupied the General Manager Position in Xerox Colombia after passing different positions in marketing, service, planning, finances, logistic and commercial departments during 18 years.
He works later in the Media Group as General Manager of EL TIEMPO Newspaper, participating in the process of corporate restructuring, supporting the strategic organization investments, coordinating processes of managerial diagnosis and strategic alliances.
Presently, he manages Vertex Resources, an Business Valuation , Investment Banking and Consulting firm specialized in Business Valuation & Intangibles , Value Creation Program , Mergers and Acquisitions,, Business Management System (BSC) and Compensation Plans.
He is certified by the ASA (American Society of Appraisers) in Business Valuation , as well as, by the IBBA as Business Intermediary. He used to be professor in the Andes University teaching the Brand Equity Management^s course.
