Jacob M. Talve-Goodman, a St. Louis native, has been captivated by the art of jewelry design since childhood. At the age of 11, he founded his first jewelry company and was featured in youth-designer showcases. His early love for natural materials, gemstones, and mineral specimens ignited a lifelong passion that led him to The Gemological Institute of America (GIA), the world’s foremost authority in diamonds and gemstones.

Upon earning his Graduate Gemologist (GG) designation from GIA’s Carlsbad, California campus, Jacob returned home to begin his career as a professional gemologist. His work spans high-end retail jewelers, jewelry replacement services for insurance providers, and diamond buying and selling. Through these experiences, Jacob developed a deep understanding of jewelry valuation and noticed the inconsistencies often present in appraisals. This insight drives his commitment to offering accurate and ethical appraisal services tailored to his clients' needs.
