Eli El Al, ASA, FRM, CPA (Isr.), MA (econ.) is the president and founder of Fair Value LTD. specializing in professional, independent valuations in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), US GAAP, and Israeli GAAP.
Valuations are prepared for purposes of both financial reporting and expert opinions to courts, regulatory and statutory bodies in Israel and abroad. Fair Value LTD employs a staff of 15 accountants and economists expert in the areas of economic consulting and valuation. Among the Company’s clients are dozens of the largest publicly traded companies in Israel.
During the past decade, Eli has been actively involved in performing thousands of valuations and economic consultations in Israel and abroad in a variety of areas, totaling billions of US dollars. He is a former lecturer for accounting and auditing courses in the areas of financial statement analysis and valuations in the Economics and Accountancy Departments at Ben Gurion University and various other academic institutions, CFO of the Jerusalem Post Group, senior accountant in the Economic Consulting Department of Professor Yitzhak Swary, Auditor, Senior Accountant and Manager in the Auditing & Consulting Departments of the accounting firm Luboshitz - Kasirer (today part of Ernst & Young - Israel).
Eli holds an MA degree in Economics, a BA degree in Economics, both from the Ben Gurion University of the Negev, Israel, specializing in Accounting. He also holds an Israeli Certified Public Accountant License No. 25628 and is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Israel No.9248. Eli also holds a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designation from the Global Association for Risk Professionals (GARP). He enjoys high professional status as independent expert and is relied upon by state courts, auditors (-mainly the offices of the Big 4), state authorities and regulators.
