Professional background

• Mike is a Managing Director leading VRC^s portfolio valuation practice in New York office. 
• Mike specializes in the valuation of illiquid securities, including privately-held equity securities, fixed income securities, various derivatives and structured products, for hedge funds, private equity funds and business development companies, in addition to completing valuations of business enterprises and intangible assets for financial reporting and tax purposes.
• Prior to joining VRC, Mike spent ten years with Ernst & Young LLP’s Valuation & Business Modeling practice in the Transaction Advisory Services group in New York. Before that, he worked in the Financial Reporting and Advisory Group of S&P.

• M.B.A. in Finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University
• M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University
• B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania
