Craig has 30 years of experience in commercial, industrial, and residential real estate appraisal, investment analysis and consulting. Extensive valuation experience includes appraisal and consulting services for private clients regarding tax compliance, trust and estate, charitable giving, portfolio valuation, financial reporting, acquistion and disposition, appraisal and model review, and variety of financial institutions, non-bank lenders, local, state, and federal governmental entities.
AltaView Advisors has deep expertise with multifamily apartment buildings, cooperative and condominium buildings, office buildings, shopping centers, religious facilities, ground lease interests, c-store/gasoline service stations, industrial buildings, subdivision developments, proposed construction, self-storage facilities, golf courses, governmental buildings, condops, commercial, industrial and residential land, conservation easements, partial interests, tax certiorari, market and rent studies, right-of-way (ROW), condemnation, and eminent domain for public works projects.
Craig’s real estate industry and related experience includes banking, property management, and architectural firms. Craig has significant valuation and consulting experience as a Senior Vice President, Senior Appraiser, Consultant and Analyst with global valuation firm Hilco Real Estate Appraisal, Inc.; national valuation firms BBG, Inc. and Integra Realty Resources, Inc.; regional valuation firms in New York City, Long Island, and the Hudson Valley including Pompeo & Mulle, Inc. and its successor Diversified Valuation, LLC (Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Long Island, NY); Hubbell Realty Resources, Inc. (Hudson Valley, NY); ABS R.D. Geronimo Valuation Services LLC as a joint venture with R.D. Geronimo, Ltd. (Manhattan and Long Island, NY); and national engineering and management consulting firm Moreland Altobelli Associates, Inc. in Atlanta, GA.
Management and ownership interests have included boutique firms NYC Appraisals LLC, Real Property Consulting Group LLC, and Appraisal Analytics LLC. Craig has completed the requirements for the ASA designation from the American Society of Appraisers. Craig is currently a Candidate for Designation and currently working towards obtaining and the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute. Craig is also qualified and has testified as an expert witness in the Supreme Court of the State of New York, County of Kings (Brooklyn, NY).
Craig has associate or affiliated memberships with the American Bar Association (ABA), the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA), the Estate Planninc Council of New York City (EPCNYC), the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council (PEPC), and the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
