Andy Clausen is the Managing Director of the Business Valuation group at LCG Advisors. He brings over 20 years of experience specializing in Purchase Price Allocation and Gift & Estate Valuation, with extensive exposure to middle-market and small businesses across a broad range of industries.
Andy has performed business valuations for a wide variety of purposes, including federal gift and estate tax, marital dissolution, estate planning, buy/sell agreements, ASC 805 (Business Combinations), ASC 350 (Goodwill Impairment Testing), and mergers and acquisitions. He is also pursuing his Machinery & Equipment Valuation certification through the American Society of Appraisers (ASA).
Before joining LCG Advisors, Andy worked with a large international accounting firm and a regional firm, where he provided valuations of minority and controlling interests in closely held businesses. His experience also includes valuations and financial modeling for mergers and acquisitions, strategic financial planning, shareholder value analysis, litigation, fair-value disputes, and fairness opinions.
