Natasha Perssico Escobedo, MBA, CPA, ASA, is the Founder and Managing Partner of Insight Forensic & Valuation Services, LLC, where she leads the business valuation and forensic accounting practice. She is a testifying expert witness in business valuation and forensic accounting matters, and has been retained by counsel in litigation across state and federal courts nationwide.
Natasha is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) in Business Valuation with the American Society of Appraisers and a Certified Public Accountant, with membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society. She earned a Master of Business Administration with honors, with a forensic accounting emphasis, from DePaul University's Kellstadt Graduate School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science with honors in accounting from the University of Tampa. She has taught graduate and undergraduate accounting coursework at Roosevelt University and DePaul University.
She values business entities and securities including closely held operating companies, general and limited partnership interests, and estate and trust holdings. Her engagements include marital dissolution and divorce proceedings; shareholder, partnership, and member disputes; economic damages and lost profits analyses; forensic accounting investigations; federal income, gift, and estate tax planning and compliance; purchase price allocation and financial reporting; and transaction planning including acquisition, divestiture, liquidation, and reorganization.
