My name is Oscar and I am a Business and Data Analyst with a hand-on experience in Business Valuation and Machine Learning for business decision making. Here are some skills that I can bring to the table:
- Genuine interest in financial data analysis. I passed the FDP (Financial Data Professional) program to validate my current skills, knowledge and passion. As a part of preparation for it I undertook a DataCamp course with a Data Science track.
- Strong quantitative background. I got my Bachelor (BSc) in Applied Mathematics with distinction and Masters (MSc) in Financial Engineering where my Master thesis’ central theme was Heston stochastic volatility modeling for options pricing.
- Programming skills in C++, Python and VBA/Excel and statistical analysis in EViews, Matlab
- Familiarity with AWS, Amazon Redshift and proficiency in Machine Learning
- Native proficiency in business English and Russian languages. Working knowledge of Dutch.
