Jason is primarily involved in providing business valuation and litigation support services to law firms, private and public companies as well as non-profit organizations and individuals. Services include rendering of conclusions on the value of businesses, intellectual property and economic damages. He has completed numerous valuation and expert reports for various purposes, including: income tax planning, corporate reorganizations, succession planning, commercial and shareholder disputes, breach of contract, securities law, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, financial reporting and transfer pricing.
Jason also assists private business owners with succession/retirement planning by preparing a formalized, comprehensive exit plan to ensure all personal retirement and business goals are achieved. Benefits to business owners include: maximizing company value, minimizing income taxes on sale, peace of mind and regaining control over how and when to exit the business.
Jason has testified before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice as an expert witness in business valuation and damages quantification and has participated as an expert in business valuation at mediation and arbitration for shareholder disputes.
