Wes Romaine is the President of ACI Aviation Consulting, bringing over 15 years of experience in the aviation industry. Since joining ACI in December 2007, he has played a key role in the company’s strategic growth, business development, and client relations. Wes has led ACI’s marketing initiatives, client acquisition, and industry engagement through speaking engagements while also overseeing project management, talent acquisition, and editorial direction for Airliner Price Guide.
With a deep understanding of both business and commercial aviation markets, Wes has extensive experience valuing aviation-based assets, including aircraft, rotorcraft, engines, and spare parts. He has conducted thousands of valuations, exceeding $100 billion for airlines, lessors, manufacturers, financiers, and Fortune 500 companies. Additionally, Wes is highly regarded for his expertise in lease-encumbered valuations and has served as an expert witness in aviation-related litigation, providing testimony and consulting support.
Wes holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from James Madison University and is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) with the American Society of Appraisers. He is also an ISTAT Certified Appraiser with the International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading (ISTAT). A recognized leader in the industry, Wes is an active member of the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), National Aircraft Finance Association (NAFA), Vertical Aviation International (VAI), ISTAT, and the American Society of Appraisers (ASA).
