Mark Jones is currently a joint Director of Dominion Group (NSW) Pty Limited and has spent over 20 years in the fuel and automotive industries and has now completed 15 years as an ASA Appraiser and ten years as an Accredited Senior Appraiser. Mark has held management positions in franchising, training, marketing and production and has had considerable experience in OH&S, asset management, HR, credit control, accounting and business analysis.
Mark holds a Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering which combined with his commercial experience provides an analytical appreciation of both the technical and business aspects of industry.
Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) compliance was achieved in 2007 and remains current. After successfully passing the required examinations Mark was accepted as an Accredited Member to the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) in 2008 and in 2013 the level of Accredited Senior Appraiser was attained.
Advanced Aviation appraisal studies with the ASA have also been undertaken and the required examinations were passed in this specialized field in 2009. Additionally Inventory, Mining, Marine and Advanced Cost Approach Appraisal courses have also been completed with the ASA. Continuous education is an important part of ASA membership and many educational seminars have been attended including presentations and learning programs relating to the solar industry, plastics industry, medical & radiological industries, brewery industry, rail and textile industries.
Major valuations across a wide range of assets have been undertaken including transport, commercial & private shipping, rail, fixed and rotary aircraft- both private and corporate, industrial processing, manufacturing, retail and agriculture.
