Clayton T. Baumann, PE, CCP, ASA
I currently serve as a Vice President at CBRE, in the Valuation & Advisory Services group, with a primary focus on industrial and complex property types. Prior to joining CBRE, I most recently served as a principal for evcValuation LLC where I executed, managed, and provided oversight of valuations of complex income-producing properties in addition to providing litigation support services and testimony.
Experience
I have experience in ad valorem tax, allocation of purchase/sale price, insurable value, pre-deal buy/sell, and end-of-lease valuations and has appraised property throughout the United States and internationally. Primary industries of focus include oil and gas, power generation, chemical, and public utilities. Properties appraised include power plants of all technologies, petrochemical facilities, petroleum refineries, petroleum product terminals, pipelines, natural gas storage facilities, paper mills, cement plants, and water distribution facilities.
From 2006 until 2009, I was a consulting design engineer with Powrtek Engineering, Inc., where I completed various electrical distribution designs for municipal, aviation, and educational facilities and structures. In 2010, I started my valuation career by joining American Appraisal Associates as an associate appraiser and progressed to the manager position by 2014. In 2015, I took the position of principal with evcValuation LLC, dedicated to providing independent valuations of complex income-producing properties. In 2026, I joined CBRE with a continued focus on the valuation of complex income-producing properties.
