Kent Amarante specializes in valuations of Plant and Machinery and Real Property. With more than 20 years in the appraisal industry, his experience includes valuations for bankruptcy, estate tax planning, financing, purchase price allocation, and tax. Mr. Amarante has extensive experience in the valuation of electric generation facilities including coal, natural gas, wind, solar, geothermal, and other renewable energies, chemical plants, oil and gas refineries, food and beverage, technology, paper manufacturing, and plastics manufacturing. He has performed dozens of international appraisal engagements in Europe, East Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East.
Mr. Amarante is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) with the American Society of Appraisers and a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS). In addition, he is Certified General Real Estate Appraiser (SCGREA) in State of New Jersey. He received a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from Rutgers University.
