Kyle K. TenHuisen is a Director in the Valuation Advisory group. His concentration is in machinery & equipment appraisal. Mr. TenHuisen has valuation consulting experience concerning domestic and foreign markets. He has provided valuation services for purchase price allocation, impairment or disposal of long-lived assets, asset based lending, property tax appeals, insurance, leasing, litigation, estate planning, and fresh start accounting purposes. He has performed tangible asset valuations internationally, including inspections to Brazil, China, Tunisia, Poland, Slovakia, Belgium, Germany, Sweden, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Canada, and Mexico.

Mr. TenHuisen has provided valuation services to clients in numerous industries, including manufacturing (automotive, medical, commercial food, aluminum and steel production, metalworking, chemicals, textiles), healthcare, transportation (rail and air) communications (voice and data), entertainment and hospitality, and retail. 

Mr. TenHuisen has conducted valuations used for several successful negotiations between tax payers and city assessors. Additionally, he has provided deposition support in the case of Patti J. Roberts v. Donald R. Roberts, State of Illinois, Circuit Court for the County of McHenry, 2009. Mr. TenHuisen was recently involved in assisting a favorable settlement to the Motors Liquidation Company Avoidance Action Trust v. JPMorgan Chase Bank case. He played an integral role with counsel by providing valuation expertise related to General Motors’ assets pledged as collateral.
