Elvis Lima is a Senior Analyst in the Tangible Asset Practice of VRC (Valuation Research Corporation) Dallas office. Lima’s area of expertise is in fair market value (FMV) fixed asset valuation. He specializes in valuation of machinery and equipment and property valuation of diverse industries. He utilizes valuation methodology including the cost, sales comparison and income approach to determine the value of a given asset to assist clients in mergers and acquisitions, planning, financial reporting, tax compliance and managerial planning.
His responsibilities of asset and property valuation include: field data collection, data processing, data review, project management and report compilation. Since 2013 he has assisted valuation of machinery and equipment and property valuation of diverse industries among them: automotive, energy, healthcare, hospitality and pharmaceutical.
Prior to joining VRC, Mr. Lima held a position with CBIZ as a Senior Consultant providing asset and property valuation throughout the United States.
Between 1997 and 1999, Mr. Lima was the secretary of finance for an international philanthropic organization in Brazil where he managed all the finance and housing needs for 200 volunteers. He introduced processes and concepts that enabled the use of a fixed budget.
Mr. Lima holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree focusing in International Business from Strayer University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Finance from Brigham Young University-Idaho.
